Ummet " Iqra'a "

قال تعالى : (( اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ (1) خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ (2) اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ (3) الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ (4) عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ (5) )) [ سورة العلق : 1 - 5 ] ،

(( Recite in the name of your Lord who created - (1) Created man from a clinging substance ( 2 ) Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous - ( 3 ) Who taught by the pen - ( 4 ) Taught man that which he knew not ( 5 ) )) [ Al Alak : 1 - 5 ] ,

وقال تعالى : (( وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا (114) )) [ سورة طه : 114 ] ،

(( and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." )) [ Taa haa : 114 ] ,

وقال تعالى : (( رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي (25) وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي (26) وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي (27) يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي (28) )) [ سورة طه : 25 - 28 ] .

(( "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] ( 25 ) And ease for me my task ( 26 ) And untie the knot from my tongue ( 27 ) That they may understand my speech ( 28 ) )) [ Taa haa : 25 - 28 ] .

عن أنس بن مالكٍ رضي الله عنه أنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((طلبُ العلم فريضةٌ على كل مسلمٍ)). [ رواه ابن ماجه (224)، وابن عبد البر في جامع بيان العلم (1/ 8 - 9)، والطبراني في الصغير (22) من طرق عن أنس، وصححه الشيخ الألباني في صحيح الجامع ( 3808 و 3809 ) ] ،

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” { Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 224 : Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani }

وعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : (( مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ )) [ رواه مسلم (4873) ] ،

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge." [Muslim - The Book of Knowledge ]  ,

وعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : (( مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَبْتَغِي فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَـهُ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَتَضَعُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ الْعِلْمِ رِضَاً بِما صَنَع ، وَإِنَّ الْعَالِمَ لَيَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ حَتَّى الْحِيتَانُ فِي الْمَاءِ ، وَفَضْلُ الْعَالِمِ عَلَى الْعَابِدِ كَفَضْلِ الْقَمَرِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الْكَوَاكِبِ ، وإِنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ وَرَثَةُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ، وإِنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ لَمْ يُوَرِّثُوا دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا وإِنَّمَا وَرَّثُوا الْعِلْمَ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ أَخَذَ بِحَظٍّ وَافِرٍ )) [ رواه أبو داود والترمذي ] ،

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy to him. The angels lower their wings over the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the oceans seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The learned are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion." { [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]. }

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (( إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عنه عملُه إلا من ثلاثةٍ: إلا من صدقةٍ جاريةٍ، أو علمٍ يُنتفَع به، أو ولدٍ صالحٍ يدعو له )). [ رواه مسلم، باب ما يلحق الإنسانَ مِن الثواب بعد وفاته (1631) ] .

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." { [Muslim]. }
